The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced the invitation of applications for the post of Director at various Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) established in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode. The positions are available at Nagpur, Sri City (Chittoor), Kota, Lucknow, Kottayam, Tiruchirappalli, and Guwahati. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection procedure.

1. Application Period:

The online application window is open from November 4, 2024, to December 3, 2024, until 11:59 PM. Candidates must apply within this period.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in an appropriate branch with an outstanding academic record and a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Professor in a reputed educational institute. The age limit is preferably not more than 60 years.

3. Salary Details:

The position offers a fixed pay of Rs. 2,10,000/- per month as per the 7th CPC, plus a special allowance of Rs. 11,250/- per month, along with other admissible allowances.

4. Contractual Appointment:

The appointment is on a contractual basis for a period of five years or until the attainment of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

5. Application Requirements:

Candidates must upload Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees, along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) in the prescribed format, verified by the Head of the Institution/Organisation.
