How to Apply
- 1. Step 1:
- Register on the BOAT’s web portal and ensure verification by the Regional Board.
- 2. Step 2:
- Candidates with technical/engineering subjects should apply through the Establishment (INMAS) on the portal.
- 3. Step 3:
- Candidates with non-technical/non-engineering subjects should send their application directly to the email hrd.inmas@gov.in in the given application format.
Selection Process
- 1. Selection Criteria:
- Candidates will be selected strictly on merit basis, determined by the percentage/marks of essential qualifications.
- 2. Shortlisting Process:
- A board constituted by Director INMAS will shortlist candidates as per the vacancies indicated.
Reservation Details
- 1. Reservation Policy:
- Reservation will be applied as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL, EWS, and PWD must produce relevant certificates.
Document Requirements
- 1. Required Documents:
- Candidates must submit caste/relevant certificates in prescribed form issued by the competent authority.
- 2. Medical Fitness Certificate:
- Selected candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
Important Instructions
- 1. Eligibility Verification:
- Candidates should ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement before applying.
- 2. Non-Obligation Clause:
- It shall not be obligatory on the part of INMAS to offer any employment to any apprentice after completion of the apprenticeship training.
- 3. Suppression of Facts:
- Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.
Training Details
- 1. Training Duration:
- The training period is 12 months, starting from the execution of the contract of Apprenticeship.
Bond or Service Agreement
- 1. Service Agreement:
- Selected candidates must execute a contract for a period of one year of training as per the provision of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Disqualification Criteria
- 1. Disqualification Conditions:
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2021 or have post-graduation degrees are not eligible.
- 2. Use of Unfair Means:
- Canvassing or personal follow-up with an intention of influencing the selection process will lead to immediate disqualification.
Other Information
- 1. Accommodation and Transport:
- The apprentices will not be provided any accommodation/transport by this establishment during the training period.
- 2. TA/DA Policy:
- No TA/DA will be paid for joining, if selected.
