Eligibility Criteria:

  • Essential qualification: BE/BTech first class with valid GATE/CSIR‑NET/UGC‑NET OR ME/MTech first class at UG & PG in CS/CE/Data Science/AI/Information Science from AICTE accredited Institute/University
  • Desirable: Algorithms, Deep Learning & NLP; Python; experience with PyTorch, Docker
  • Duration of fellowship: 02 years (may be extended further & upgraded to SRF as per rules)

Age Limitations:

  • Age limit (as on interview date): 28 years; relaxable by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/PH

Salary Details

> Salary Range: 37,000 - ₹37,000 Monthly

> Allowances: HRA as per rules

2. Pre‑registration by e‑mail:
Send duly filled Application Form by e‑mail to j.r.f.recruitment.blore@gmail.com with subject “Application for JRF as per the Advertisement No: CAIR/HRT/JRF/2026/02” by 13th September 2026. Use the exact subject without any prefix/suffix.
3. Walk‑in without pre‑registration:
Eligible candidates may also report directly to the Walk‑In Interview within the stipulated reporting time with all required documents.
4. Bring documents:
Carry a copy of the duly filled Application Form and complete bio‑data on the date of interview.

Exam Pattern

1. Selection day flow:
Written Test from 1000 Hrs on 19th September 2026; only qualified candidates will be interviewed on the same day.

Selection Process

1. Screening:
Original certificates/testimonials and community certificate (if applicable) will be screened on the day of interview; only eligible candidates will be allowed.
2. Written test and interview:
Written Test followed by Interview on 19th September 2026; final offer as per merit list based on Interview performance.
3. Offer in case of non‑joining:
If the selected candidate refuses the offer or resigns within one year of publication of interview result, the post will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list.

Reservation Details

1. Age relaxation:
Up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH and 3 years for OBC (as per notice).

Document Requirements

1. Original documents:
All original certificates/testimonials and community certificate (if applicable).
2. Photocopies & photos:
ONE set of self‑attested photocopies of all certificates/testimonials and two recent passport‑size colour photographs.
3. ID proof:
Government issued Photo‑ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Voter ID etc.) in original and a photocopy.
4. NOC:
Candidates employed in Government Departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies must produce NOC at the time of interview.
5. Application form:
Duly filled application form (typed in BLOCK letters) with recent passport size photo affixed.

Important Instructions

1. Reporting time:
0830–0930 Hrs at CAIR Main Gate Reception on the date of Interview; late comers will not be allowed.
2. Electronic items:
Mobile phones, pen drives, laptops, CD‑ROMs, smart watches etc. are not allowed inside CAIR campus (can be deposited at Reception).
3. Parking:
No vehicle parking facility is available; candidates are advised to use public transport.
4. No TA/DA:
No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview or at the time of joining, if selected.
5. Eligibility cut‑off date:
Age, educational qualification and validity of GATE/CSIR‑NET/UGC‑NET, if applicable, will be considered as on the date of the Walk‑In Interview.
6. Clarifications:
