DRDO CHESS Apprenticeship Engagement 2025

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced the engagement of Graduate and Technician Apprentices at the Centre for High Energy Systems and Sciences (CHESS), Hyderabad. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection procedure for the apprenticeship program under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

1. Application Deadline:

The last date for submission of applications for the apprenticeship program is extended till September 22, 2025. Applications received after this date will not be accepted.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed their respective courses in 2022, 2023, or 2024. Post-graduate qualification holders are not eligible. Only regular candidates are eligible to apply.

3. Stipend Details:

Graduate Apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹9,000 per month, while Technician Apprentices will receive ₹8,000 per month.

4. Application Process:

Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and send their offline application in the prescribed format to the Director, CHESS, DRDO, Hyderabad.

5. Selection Process:

Selection will be based on the percentage of marks secured by candidates at the essential qualification level.
