DESIDOC (DRDO) has released the provisional selection list for its Apprenticeship Training Programme 2026-27 and issued joining instructions. Selected candidates in streams including Library & Information Science, B.Tech/B.E./Three Years Diploma in Computer Science, and Diploma/ITI in Photography/Videography must report at DESIDOC, Metcalfe House, Delhi, during the specified joining window. Document Requirements
- 1. 10th Mark sheet and Certificate:
- For proof of Date of Birth (original and one set of xerox).
- 2. Qualifying exam mark sheets:
- All semesters (original and one set of xerox).
- 3. Qualification/Provisional Degree Certificate:
- Issued by competent authority.
- 4. Caste Certificate:
- If applicable, issued by competent authority.
- 5. PwD Certificate:
- If applicable.
- 6. EWS Certificate:
- If applicable.
- 7. Photo ID / Aadhaar:
- Government issued photo ID or Aadhaar Card.
- 8. NATS registration:
- Registration No./Certificate for registration under NATS Portal.
- 9. Photographs:
- Three passport size and two stamp size photographs.
- 10. Bank account details:
- Aadhaar-seeded account; copy of front page of passbook.
- 11. Character Certificate:
- Signed by two Gazetted Officers; will be sent through mail by the Administrative Division.
- 12. Medical Fitness Certificate:
- Issued by Govt. Doctor/Registered Medical Practitioner; will be sent through mail by the Administrative Division.
- 13. Attestation Form:
- Will be sent through mail by the Administrative Division.
Important Instructions
- 1. Join within window:
- Candidates must join between 21st August 2026 and 5th September 2026; otherwise candidature will not be considered.
- 2. Working days only:
- Report on any working day; Saturdays, Sundays and Gazetted holidays are closed.
- 3. No TA/DA:
- No TA/DA will be provided; candidates must arrange accommodation/transport on their own.
- 4. Document verification:
- Original documents with one photocopy set are mandatory; failure to produce will lead to cancellation.
- 5. Reference advertisement:
- Refers to the Advertisement for Engagement of Apprentices Training Programme 2026-27 published on 10th June 2026 at DRDO website.

Disqualification Criteria

- Failure to join within 21st August 2026 to 5th September 2026 will cancel candidature.
- 2. Document shortfall:
- Failure to produce required originals and photocopies at joining will cancel selection.
