Job Details

Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL), DRDO, Hyderabad invites applications from Indian nationals for 18 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions: 7 in Metallurgical Engg./Materials Science, 7 in Mechanical Engg., 2 in Chemical Engg., and 2 in Physics. 2. Email submission:
Email the duly filled excel sheet and a single combined PDF of all supporting documents to dmrlhrd@gmail.com.
3. File naming:
Both the excel sheet and the PDF should start with the Sl. No. of the post followed by the candidate’s name (e.g., 2Srinivas).
4. Documents format:
Scan all supporting documents as a single PDF in the specified order and send together with the excel form.
5. Marks format:
Enter marks as percentage in the excel sheet; attach University-issued document for CGPA/CPI to percentage conversion.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting criteria:
For B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. candidates, shortlisting is based on valid NET/GATE score; for M.E./M.Tech. candidates, based on percentage of marks in M.E./M.Tech.
2. Subject relevance:
GATE paper and qualifying degree subject must be related to the applied discipline; NET/GATE must be valid on the interview date.
3. Interview:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview at Hyderabad; date will be intimated later.

Important Instructions
