- At the walk‑in, submit the application in an envelope clearly marked “Application for Paid Internship”, also mentioning the “Branch Code……..” for segregation.
- 3. Mandatory letter:
- Referral/Request letter from Principal/Director is mandatory and should recommend meritorious students only.
- 4. CGPA to percentage:
- CGPA must be converted to percentage (average of completed semesters/years).
- 5. Shortlist intimation:
- Only shortlisted students will be notified about joining procedures, undertakings and indemnity bond requirements.
Selection Process
- 1. Shortlisting:
- Eligible candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of % marks (CGPA converted to percentage).
- 2. Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo interaction/interview; selection will be entirely on merit.
- 3. Intimation:
- Interview date will be intimated after shortlisting via phone and on the DRDO website.
Document Requirements
- 1. No Objection Certificate (NOC):
- Original NOC on college letterhead stating the student will be relieved for internship at DRDL/ASL/CAS and will be present for a minimum of 15 working days per month.
- 2. Police verification:
- Police verification from local police station; acknowledgement to be submitted at joining (if selected).
- 3. Character certificate:
- Character Certificate from the College.
- 4. Official Secrets Act:
- Undertaking for adherence to the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923.
- 5. IT rules undertaking:
- Undertaking to follow IT rules and regulations applicable for Ministry of Defence and amendments thereof.
- 6. Bank details:
- Bank account details for stipend transfer.
- 7. Medical fitness:
- Medical fitness certificate from authorized medical practitioners holding at least an MBBS degree.
- 8. ID and photos:
- Original Aadhar card and College ID for verification; 03 passport size photographs.
- 9. Marksheets:
- All previous semesters’ marks sheets in original for on‑the‑spot verification (originals returned immediately).
- 10. Indemnity form:
- Indemnity form to be provided by the college as and when required by DRDL/ASL/CAS.
- 11. Referral letter:

Important Instructions
- 1. Boarding/Lodging:
- No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible; candidates must arrange their own stay and transport in Hyderabad.
