Job Details
DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory – Quantum Technologies (DYSL-QT) seeks interns for 6 months to support R&D in Quantum Computing, Communication and Sensing. Interns will be selected from Engineering (E&TC/ECE/Mechanical with 3D design, Computer Science with Python/Image Processing), M.Sc Physics (preferably Optics) and M.Tech in Physics/Applied/Engineering Physics (preferably applications of Quantum Mechanics). Stipend is ₹5,000 per month, paid in two instalments after 3 and 6 months, subject to a minimum of 15 days’ physical attendance per month; completion certificates are issued after successful completion. No boarding/lodging is provided and this internship does not confer any right to employment in DRDO.

- 3. Document verification:
- Selection subject to satisfactory verification of documents; only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

- 1. NOC:
- No Objection Certificate from college on letterhead confirming relief for internship and minimum 15 working days per month attendance.
- 2. Police verification:
- Acknowledgement from local police station at time of joining (if selected).
- 3. Undertakings:
- Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923; and adherence to IT rules and regulations of Ministry of Defence.
- 4. ID and photos:
- Original Aadhaar and College ID for verification; 3 passport-size photographs.
- 5. Marksheets:
- All previous semesters’ marksheets in original for verification (originals returned immediately).
- 6. Medical fitness:
- Certificate from an authorized medical practitioner holding at least an MBBS degree.
- 7. Bank details:
- Provide bank details for stipend transfer.
- 8. College request letter:
- Request letter in the attached format signed by Principal/Director; indemnity form as required by DYSL-QT.
Important Instructions
- 1. Timeliness & completeness:
- Incomplete/erroneous applications or those received after the due date will be rejected; no further communication will be entertained.
- 2. Merit-based selection:
- Selection is entirely on merit; no communication will be undertaken for rejected candidates.
- 3. Management rights:
- DYSL-QT reserves the right to change vacancy positions or selection criteria at any point without assigning reasons.
- 4. No employment guarantee:
- DRDO/DYSL-QT shall have no obligation to offer employment on completion of the internship.
