DRDO Paid Internship for Postgraduate Students 2025

The Defence Research Laboratory (DRL), a premier laboratory of DRDO, has announced a paid internship program for postgraduate students. The internship is focused on research and development activities relevant to the troops deployed in North East India, covering areas such as combat efficiency, disease surveillance, and water quality management.

1. Internship Duration:

The internship will last for 6 months, with a monthly stipend of ₹5,000.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be pursuing a full-time Master’s degree (3rd/4th Semester or 2nd year) in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognized Indian University/Institute.

3. Application Process:

Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format within 10 days from the date of advertisement, either by email to hrd.drl@gov.in or by speed post to the Centre Head, DRL, Tezpur.

4. Selection Procedure:

Selection will be based on merit in an online interview. Candidates must apply through their respective institutes/universities.

5. Age Limit:

Candidates must be below 28 years as of 10 days from the date of advertisement. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
