The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced paid internships for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students at the Vehicle Research and Development Organization (VRDE) in Ahmednagar. The internship offers practical exposure in defense technology with a stipend and is open to students in their final years of study.

1. Internship Duration:

The internship will last for 6 months, starting from September 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Open to students pursuing a full-time undergraduate engineering degree in the 7th or 8th semester, or a Master of Technology (M.Tech) course in the 1st or 2nd year from a recognized Indian University/Institute.

3. Application Deadline:

The last date to apply for the internship is August 26, 2025.

4. Stipend Details:

Interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, paid in two installments after 3 and 6 months of training.

5. Selection Process:

Selection is based on merit, with a minimum CGPA of 7 required. Shortlisted candidates will be notified about the joining procedures.
