- Level required: Secretary to Govt. of India level (Pay Level 17).
- Eligible backgrounds: Scientists, Technologists, Academicians and Civil Servants with established and proven track record.

> Gross Salary: ₹1,12,500 Monthly
> Grade Pay: ₹Pay Level 17 of 7th CPC (₹ 2,25,000)
> Allowances: DA on basic pay as applicable; accommodation or HRA as applicable.

- Basic pay (less pension) for re-employed retirees: Rs 112500 (indicative, as per Government rules/norms, subject to amendments).

- 2. Submission mode:
- Send the duly filled biodata by Speed Post to The Director, Recruitment and Assessment Centre, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi – 110054.

- Application must reach RAC on or before 07 Sep 2026.
- 4. Undertaking:
- Include an undertaking in the biodata that the applicant will join the post if selected.
Selection Process
- 1. Method:
- Appointment on re-employment contract basis.
- 2. Committee:
- High-level Search-cum-Selection Committee appointed by the Government of India, in accordance with extant DoP&T instructions.
- 3. Approvals:
- Final approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
- 4. Additional consideration:
- Committee may consider any other name(s) in addition to biodata received against the advertisement.
Document Requirements
- 1. Undertaking:
- An undertaking to join the post if selected must be part of the biodata.
- 2. Proof of level:
- Attach proof of Pay Level 17 / Secretary-level post such as appointment letter or Pension Payment Order (PPO), etc.
