Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Driver (Staff Car) on a contract basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection procedure.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Driver (Staff Car) position is open from May 25, 2026, to June 9, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed 10th grade and possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle Driving License. A minimum of 10 years of driving experience is required, with at least 1 year as a Staff Car Driver for senior officers in CPSEs/PSUs or equivalent.

3. Contract Duration:

The contract is for a maximum period of three years, subject to project requirements and individual performance.

4. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹200 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process involves a Practical Test. Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements and pass the test to be considered for the position.
