Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited (HCSL) has announced the engagement of Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973. The notification details eligibility criteria, application process, and selection procedure for the apprenticeship program.
- 1. Application Period:
- Online registration for the apprenticeship program is open from December 12, 2024, to January 1, 2025.
- 2. Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must hold a degree or diploma in engineering or technology, passed during 2020-2024, and be domiciled in West Bengal.
- 3. Stipend Details:
- Graduate Apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹12,000 per month, while Technician Apprentices will receive ₹10,200 per month.
- 4. Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification, with preference given to seniority in passing year in case of a tie.
- 5. No Application Fee:
- There is no application fee for applying to the apprenticeship program.
