Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited has revised the selection process for the Fireman post on a contract basis. The updated method includes an Objective Type Test and a Practical & Physical Test, with specific marks distribution.
- 1. Revised Selection Process:
- The selection process for the Fireman post now includes a Phase-I Objective Type Test worth 30 marks and a Phase-II Practical & Physical Test worth 70 marks.
- 2. Objective Type Test Details:
- The Objective Type Test will carry 30 marks, and there will be no negative marking. Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% to qualify for the next phase.
- 3. Practical & Physical Test:
- The Practical & Physical Test will carry 70 marks. Only candidates who pass the Objective Type Test will be eligible for this phase.
