Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited (HCSL) has announced the schedule for the selection tests for the posts of Operator (Lathe), Operator (Crane), Welder, Operator (MHE & Transporter), and Diesel Mechanic on a contract basis. The selection process includes certificate verification, an objective type test, and a practical test.
- 1. Selection Test Dates:
- The selection tests for Operator (Lathe) will be held on August 6, 2025, and for Operator (Crane), Welder, Operator (MHE & Transporter), and Diesel Mechanic on August 7, 2025.
- 2. Venue Details:
- The tests will be conducted at Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited, Administrative Building, Satyen Bose Road, P.O.- Danesh Shaikh Lane, Nazirgunge, Howrah, West Bengal - 711109.
- 3. Selection Process:
- The selection process includes Certificate Verification, an Objective Type Test with a weightage of 30 marks, and a Practical Test with a weightage of 70 marks.
- 4. Reporting Time:
- Candidates are required to report at 08:30 A.M. on the respective dates of their selection tests.
- 5. Document Requirements:
- Candidates must bring two copies of the call letter, a valid photo ID, and original certificates for verification.
