The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an important notice for candidates of the Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination 2025. The notice addresses changes in the One-Time Registration (OTR) process, guidelines for PwBD candidates, and instructions for candidates with name changes.
- 1. Editable OTR Entries:
- Candidates can edit entries such as name change status, gender, minority status, and Class 10th Board Examination Roll No. until the final submission of the application and during the correction window.
- 2. Non-Editable OTR Entries:
- Entries such as Name (as per Class X), Date of Birth, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Mobile Number, and Email ID cannot be changed after submission.
- 3. PwBD Candidates:
- PwBD candidates must provide details of their 'own scribe' for the CS (Prelim) Exam and may update these details for the CS (Main) Exam after the Prelim results.
- 4. Name Change Documentation:
- Candidates with name changes must submit a Gazette Notification. If unavailable, they can upload it during the window after the CS (Prelim) Exam results.
- 5. Integrated Master's Degree:
- Candidates with an Integrated Master's Degree can fill the same course in both Graduation and higher qualification columns.
