Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited (HCSL), a subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited, has announced the engagement of ITI (Trade) Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. The online application process is open from December 19, 2025, to January 8, 2026. Eligible candidates domiciled in West Bengal can apply for a one-year apprenticeship training program.

1. Application Period:

The online application window for ITI Trade Apprentices is open from December 19, 2025, to January 8, 2026. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed Xth Standard and hold an ITI (National Trade Certificate – NTC) in relevant trades. They must be at least 18 years old as of January 8, 2026, and domiciled in West Bengal.

3. Selection Process:

Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the ITI qualification. Shortlisted candidates will undergo certificate verification and must meet medical fitness standards.

4. Stipend:

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹11,000.

5. Application Fee:

There is no application fee for this apprenticeship program.
