The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has announced a vacancy for the post of Joint Director (Farm Information) in the Directorate of Extension. The position is to be filled by deputation method, and applications are invited from eligible officers from various government and semi-government organizations.

1. Position Available:

One post of Joint Director (Farm Information) is available in the Directorate of Extension, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.

2. Pay Scale:

The pay scale for the position is Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- or Level 11 (Rs. 67700-208700/-) as per the 7th CPC.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension and have five years of experience in Agricultural Extension including Farm Communication.

4. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted within 60 days from the date of publication in the Employment News/Rojgar Samachar.

5. Deputation Period:

The deputation period shall not exceed four years, and the upper age limit for appointment is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
