The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced a walk-in interview for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Microwave Tube Research & Development Centre (MTRDC) in Bangalore. The interview is scheduled for February 24, 2025, and candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply.

1. Interview Date and Venue:

The walk-in interview for the Junior Research Fellow position will be held on February 24, 2025, at MTRDC Reception, Near Bharat Electronics North Gate, Jalahalli Post, Bangalore-560013. Candidates must report at 10:00 hrs.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) with a valid NET/GATE score or a postgraduate degree (M.E/M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering in first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

3. Stipend:

Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 37,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance as per rules.

4. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit is 28 years. Age relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH and 3 years for OBC candidates is applicable.

5. General Conditions:

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC must produce the original caste certificate issued by the competent authority. Physically handicapped candidates should provide a medical certificate from a government hospital or medical board.
