The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced a walk-in interview for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the DRDO Young Scientists’ Laboratory for Smart Materials (DYSL-SM) in Hyderabad. The interview is scheduled for August 26, 2025, at 09:30 hrs. Candidates with a background in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering and a valid GATE score are invited to apply.

1. Interview Date and Time:

The walk-in interview for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) position will be held on August 26, 2025, at 09:30 hrs.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech. in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with First Class and a valid GATE score, or an M.E./M.Tech. in related fields with First Class.

3. Desirable Skills:

Candidates with working knowledge of finite element packages, CAD, 3D Printing, Composite Materials, basic electronics, and instrumentation are preferred.

4. Fellowship Emoluments:

The fellowship offers a monthly emolument of Rs. 37,000 with applicable H.R.A. and other emoluments as per DRDO rules.

5. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for the JRF position is 28 years as on the date of application, with age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
