The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for 2025 at the Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), Avadi, Chennai. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages for engaging young Indian nationals in research related to Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) technologies.

1. Application Process:

Offline applications are invited for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in various engineering disciplines. Candidates must send their applications as per the format given in Annexure I.

2. Vacancies:

A total of 9 vacancies are available for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) across different engineering disciplines.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech with First Division and a valid GATE score or M.E./M.Tech with First Division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

4. Age Limit:

The age limit for candidates is 28 years for Unreserved, 31 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 33 years for SC/ST categories as on the date of application.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process includes a written test and interview at CVRDE, Avadi. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email.
