The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has released an official notification for the recruitment of a Legal Adviser. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, selection procedure, and other important information.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Legal Adviser post is open from June 3, 2025, to July 2, 2025. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess an LLM with 5 years of experience in handling service matters or an LLB with 8 years of experience. Knowledge of government rules and experience in civil and labor law is desirable.

3. Selection Process:

Selection will be based on an interview conducted by a Selection Committee as per CSIR Service Rules, 2025.

4. Age Limit:

The minimum age is 32 years, and the maximum age is 50 years as of the last date of application submission.

5. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹500 is applicable. SC/ST/PwBD, women, and ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
