The Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has released a vacancy circular for the post of Library and Information Assistant at the Central Fertilizer Quality Control & Training Institute, Faridabad. The position is open for deputation or absorption basis, with specific eligibility criteria and responsibilities outlined.

1. Position Details:

The vacancy is for one post of Library and Information Assistant (General Central Service, Group 'B' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) at the Central Fertilizer Quality Control & Training Institute, Faridabad.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold analogous posts on a regular basis or have six years of regular service in the post in Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- (Revised Level-5 of Pay Matrix) or equivalent.

3. Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institution, with two years of professional experience in a library under Central Government or State Governments or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research or Educational Institution.

4. Desirable Qualification:

Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute.

5. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

6. Application Process:

Applications must be routed through proper channel and accompanied by bio-data, photocopies of APARs for the last five years, and certificates regarding Vigilance Clearance, Integrity, and Major/Minor Penalty.
