One post of Library and Information Assistant (General Central Service, Group B, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) is available in Level 6 (Rs.35,400—1,12,400) in the pay matrix.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold analogous posts on a regular basis or have six years of regular service in posts in level 5 in the pay matrix. A Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science and two years of professional experience in a library are essential.

3. Application Process:

Applications must be submitted within 60 days of the advertisement's publication in Employment News. Required documents include an integrity certificate, vigilance clearance, and attested photocopies of APARs for the last five years.

4. Maximum Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation is 56 years as of the last date of receipt of applications.
