The Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, has announced the recruitment for the post of Library and Information Officer on a deputation basis. The position is classified under General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, in Level 11 of the CCS (RP) Rules 2016.

1. Position Details:

The post of Library and Information Officer is available in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, on a deputation basis for a period of 3 years.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science and have five years of professional experience in a library under the Central or State Government or other specified organizations.

3. Desirable Qualifications:

One year of experience in computerizing library activities and digitization of records, along with a Diploma in Computer Application, is desirable.
