Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has announced a walk-in selection process for the recruitment of Medical Officers on a contract basis. The selection will be held on March 10, 2026, at the Competency Development Centre, Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi. Candidates with an MBBS degree and relevant experience are invited to apply.

1. Walk-in Selection Date:

The walk-in selection for the Medical Officer position will be held on March 10, 2026, from 0830 Hrs to 1400 Hrs.

2. Venue:

Competency Development Centre (CDC), Near Perumanoor Gate (Thevara), Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi – 682 015.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized university, valid registration with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council, and a minimum of 2 years post-internship clinical experience.

4. Number of Vacancies:

There are 3 vacancies available for the Medical Officer position, with 2 for UR and 1 for SC category.

5. Contract Period:

The contract tenure is for a period of five years, subject to organizational requirements and individual performance.

6. Remuneration:

The monthly consolidated pay during the first year of the contract is ₹75,000, with an annual increase applicable in subsequent years.
