CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata, has announced the recruitment for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) under advertisement number R&C/615/2026. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, examination pattern, and selection process.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) position is open from March 5, 2026, to April 4, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Total Number of Vacancies:

There are 8 vacancies for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) position, distributed as follows: UR: 5, SC: 1, OBC-NCL: 1, EWS: 1. Additionally, 1 vacancy is reserved for PwBD (Blindness and Low Vision) and 1 for Ex-Servicemen.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent. Intermediate (12th Class Pass) is desirable. The age limit is 18 to 25 years, with relaxations as per GOI/CSIR rules.

4. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹500 is applicable for all categories except Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen, who are exempted from paying the fee.

5. Examination Pattern:

The examination will be OMR based or Computer Based Objective type with 150 questions, covering General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Language.
