The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2024. This prestigious examination is for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 154th Course and the 116th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The notification details eligibility criteria, application process, examination schedule, and selection procedures.
- 1. Application Period:
- The application window for the NDA & NA Examination (II), 2024 is open from May 15, 2024, to June 4, 2024. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
- 2. Examination Date:
- The examination will be conducted on September 1, 2024, across various centers nationwide.
- 3. Total Number of Vacancies:
- The approximate number of vacancies to be filled is 404, distributed across the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA and the Naval Academy.
- 4. Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must be unmarried male/female, born not earlier than January 2, 2006, and not later than January 1, 2009. Educational qualifications vary for different wings.
- 5. Application Fee:
- An application fee of ₹100 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/female candidates and wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from paying the fee.
