Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has announced a walk-in selection process for Ex-Servicemen or Retired Central Armed Police Forces personnel for the position of Operator (Forklift/Aerial Work Platform) on a contract basis. The selection will be conducted through a practical test, and applications will be received on 04 August 2025.

1. Walk-in Selection Date:

Applications will be received on 04 August 2025 from 0830 Hrs to 1400 Hrs at the Competency Development Centre, Near Perumanoor Gate (Thevara), Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi – 682 015.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be Ex-Servicemen or Retired personnel from Central Armed Police Forces with a valid Heavy Vehicle/Forklift Driving Licence and a minimum of one year of experience in operating Forklift/Aerial Work Platform.

3. Number of Vacancies:

There are 20 vacancies for the position of Operator (Forklift/Aerial Work Platform).

4. Contract Details:

The position is on a contract basis for a maximum period of three years or until the age of 60, whichever is earlier.

5. Remuneration:

The monthly consolidated pay is ₹27,000 for the first year, ₹28,000 for the second year, and ₹28,900 for the third year, with extra hour payment at double rate for up to 25 hours per month.
