The Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai, has announced a recruitment notification for the post of Radio Officer on a contractual basis. 1. Position:

Radio Officer on a contractual basis at DG COMM & LRIT Centre, Mumbai.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold a GMDSS CoC with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Radio Officer, or be Second Officers with Indian CoC and at least 3 years of sea experience, or Indian Navy/Coast Guard personnel with a minimum of 6 years of service.

3. Age Preference:

Preference for candidates below 50 years, with possible relaxation for those with exceptional experience.

4. IT Skills Required:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Data Analysis tools is essential.

5. Salary:

A consolidated remuneration of Rs. 7,80,000/- per annum.
