Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has announced the Apprenticeship Training Scheme (ATS) for 2026, inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for a two-year training program under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The notification details eligibility criteria, application process, important dates, and selection methodology.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2026 is open from May 6, 2026, to May 30, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed VIII Std. Graduates or Diploma holders are not eligible. Age should be between 18 and 23 years as of May 30, 2026, with age relaxations for reserved categories.

3. Total Number of Vacancies:

A total of 40 seats are available, distributed across various categories: UR - 16, OBC - 13, SC - 7, EWS - 4.

4. Selection Process:

Selection will be based on a Physical Test for 100 marks. Candidates meeting eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for the test.

5. Stipend Details:

Stipend for the first year is ₹11,000 per month and ₹12,000 for the second year. Post-training contract terms offer a consolidated pay starting at ₹22,100 per month.
