- 1. LASIK Surgery Eligibility:
- Candidates who have undergone LASIK surgery may be eligible for posts requiring Medical Standards B1, provided certain criteria are met.
- 2. Medical Criteria:
- No complications related to LASIK surgery, surgery should be at least one year old, and residual corneal thickness should not be less than 425 microns.
- 3. Visual Acuity:
- Visual acuity must comply with Para 512(1) (A) of IRMM, Vol.I, Third Edition 2000.
- 4. Normal Fundus:
- The fundus should be normal with no evidence of progressive eye disease.
