State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, training duration, and selection process for the apprenticeship program.

1. Application Period:

The online application window for SBI Apprenticeship 2023 is open from September 1, 2023, to September 21, 2023. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Training Duration:

The apprenticeship training is for a duration of one year, providing practical experience in various banking operations.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be Indian citizens, aged between 20 and 28 years as of August 1, 2023, and possess a graduation degree from a recognized university.

4. Stipend:

Selected apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month during the training period. No additional allowances or benefits are provided.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process includes an online written test and a test of local language proficiency. Candidates must qualify in both to be considered for the apprenticeship.
