SBI Nodal Officers (Liaison and Hospitality) Engagement

State Bank of India has announced the engagement of retired bank officers as Nodal Officers (Liaison and Hospitality) on a contract basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages.

1. Application Period:

Online registration of applications is open from November 3, 2023, to November 24, 2023. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officers of SBI and its erstwhile associate banks with unblemished service records, who retired as MMGS-III or SMGS-IV, are eligible. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as Liaison/Hospitality Officer.

3. Selection Process:

The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. The merit list for final selection will be prepared in descending order of scores obtained in the interview.

4. Remuneration:

The remuneration for MMGS-III is ₹40,000 and for SMGS-IV is ₹45,000 per month, paid on a lump sum basis without any perquisites.

5. Contract Duration:

The contract will be for a period of 1 to 3 years or until the officer attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier, subject to quarterly performance reviews.
