State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the engagement of retired bank officials on a contract basis for the positions of FLC Counsellors and FLC Directors. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages.

1. Application Period:

Online registration for the engagement of retired bank officials is open from February 5, 2026, to February 26, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officers from SBI, other PSBs, and RRBs in Scale I to IV are eligible for FLC Counsellors, while those in Scale III and IV are eligible for FLC Directors. Proficiency in local language and computer knowledge is essential.

3. Total Number of Vacancies:

A total of 246 vacancies for FLC Counsellors and 11 vacancies for FLC Directors are available across various circles.

4. Age Limit:

Candidates must be between 60 and 63 years of age as of January 31, 2026. No age relaxation is available for reserved categories.

5. Selection Process:

The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. The merit list will be prepared based on interview scores.
