State Bank of India has announced the engagement of Specialist Cadre Officer on a contractual basis. The notification details the application process, eligibility criteria, selection process, and other important information.

1. Application Period:

Online registration and payment of fees are open from July 17, 2024, to August 6, 2024.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be retired in the rank of Lieutenant General or above from the Indian Army, with a maximum age of 62 years as of May 31, 2024.

3. Selection Process:

The selection will be based on shortlisting and interaction. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

4. Contract Period:

The initial contract period is 2 years, with the possibility of re-engagement for a maximum of 2 additional years, subject to satisfactory performance and health conditions.

5. Application Fee:

The application fee is ₹750 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from the fee.
