State Bank of India has announced the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officer on a contract basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, selection stages, and other important information.

1. Application Period:

Online registration and payment of fees are open from October 21, 2023, to November 10, 2023.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be retired in the rank of Major General or Brigadier from the Indian Army. Maximum age is 60 years as of August 1, 2023.

3. Selection Process:

The selection will be based on shortlisting-cum-interaction. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

4. Application Fee:

The application fee is ₹750 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from the fee.

5. Place of Posting:

The suggested place of posting is Guwahati, covering the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh.
