State Bank of India has announced the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officer on a contract basis. The notification details the application process, eligibility criteria, selection process, and other important information.

1. Application Period:

Online registration and payment of fees are open from February 13, 2024, to March 4, 2024.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be retired in the rank of Major General or Brigadier from the Indian Army and not above 60 years as of December 1, 2023.

3. Selection Process:

The selection will be based on shortlisting-cum-interaction. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

4. Contract Period:

The selected candidate will be engaged on a contract for a period of 2 years, with a possibility of re-engagement for up to 2 more years.

5. Application Fee:

The application fee is ₹750 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and NIL for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
