State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on a regular basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages for the post of Deputy Manager (Economist).

1. Application Period:

The online application and fee payment for the Specialist Cadre Officer recruitment are open from October 8, 2025, to October 28, 2025. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Economics/Econometrics/Mathematical Economics/Financial Economics with at least 60% marks. A PhD in related fields is preferred. Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in research and analytics is required.

3. Selection Process:

The selection process includes shortlisting and an interview. The interview will carry 100 marks, and the merit list will be prepared based on interview scores.

4. Application Fee:

The application fee is ₹750 for General/EWS/OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from the fee.

5. Place of Posting:

The selected candidates may be posted in Mumbai or anywhere in India, depending on administrative requirements.
