The Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has extended the application deadline for the Seed Technologist position at the National Seed Research and Training Centre, Varanasi. The new deadline is January 16, 2026.

The last date for submitting applications for the Seed Technologist post has been extended to January 16, 2026.

2. Position Details:

The position is for a Seed Technologist, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, non-Ministerial, in Pay Level-11 (Rs.67700-208700) at NSRTC, Varanasi.

3. Mode of Recruitment:

The recruitment will be on a deputation/absorption basis.

4. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be officers under Central/State Governments or equivalent, with specific service requirements and a Master of Science (Agriculture) degree.
