Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority (SMPA) has announced the recruitment for the post of Senior Deputy Manager in the Traffic Railways Division at Haldia Dock Complex. The position is to be filled by absorption through the Composite Method, with applications open from January 17, 2026, to February 16, 2026.

1. Position Available:

One post of Senior Deputy Manager under Traffic Railways Division, Haldia Dock Complex, SMPA.

2. Application Period:

Applications are open from January 17, 2026, to February 16, 2026. Only applications submitted through the Online Application Portal (OAP) will be accepted.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be officers from Major Ports fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per the Recruitment Rules. The selection is based on merit with a benchmark of 'Very Good' in ACRs/APARs.

4. Application Submission:

Candidates must submit applications through the OAP and forward a printout to their administrative Port for onward submission to HDC by March 3, 2026.

5. Selection Process:

The selection will be done by merit, and the final appointment is subject to the Ministry's approval.
