State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on a contractual basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages for the post of Internal Ombudsman.

1. Application Period:

The online application window for the Specialist Cadre Officers is open from February 8, 2025, to March 2, 2025. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be a retired or serving officer equivalent to a General Manager in another bank or financial sector regulatory body, with at least seven years of experience in relevant fields.

3. Selection Process:

The selection will be based on shortlisting and interaction. The merit list will be prepared based on scores obtained in the interaction.

4. Contract Period:

The contract period for the Internal Ombudsman is three years, with no eligibility for re-appointment or extension.

5. Application Fee:

The application fee is ₹750 for General/EWS/OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
