Recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers in SBI 2026-27

State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on a contract basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages for the post of Group Chief Economic Advisor.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Specialist Cadre Officers is open from April 13, 2026, to May 4, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Economics with specialization in Monetary/Financial Economics or Econometrics. A Doctorate in Money/Banking/International Finance is preferred.

3. Experience Requirement:

A minimum of 15 years of work experience as an Economist in a Commercial Bank/Financial Institution or as a Lecturer/Professor in Economics is required.

4. Age Limit:

Candidates must be between 55 and 62 years of age as of March 31, 2026.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process includes shortlisting, an interview, and CTC negotiation.
