Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata has released an official notification for the engagement of Sr. Hydrographers on a contractual basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, job description, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Position:

Engagement of four (04) Sr. Hydrographers on a contractual basis under the Marine Department.

2. Contract Duration:

The engagement is for a period of three (03) years.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be Indian citizens with a B.Sc. in Nautical Science or equivalent qualifications such as 2nd Mate (FG)/1st Mate (FG)/Dredge Mate Grade-I/Dredge Master Grade-II.

4. Age Limit:

Upper age limit is 30 years for B.Sc. (Nautical Science) and 35 years for other qualifications as on 01.08.2025.

5. Remuneration:

Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 57,000/-.

6. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by 29.09.2025.
