SSB Recruitment 2025 for Head Constable and Constable Posts

The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the recruitment for various posts in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) for 2025. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages for the posts of Head Constable (Laboratory Assistant), Head Constable (Physiotherapy Assistant), and Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic).

1. Application Period:

Online applications are invited for the posts from the date of publication in Employment News. The last date for receipt of applications is 30 days from the date of publication.

2. Total Number of Vacancies:

A total of 76 vacancies are available across various posts, including Head Constable (Laboratory Assistant), Head Constable (Physiotherapy Assistant), and Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic).

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and age criteria for each post. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.

4. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹100 is applicable for UR, EWS, and OBC candidates. SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, and female candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process includes Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Examination, Documentation, and Medical Examination.
