Exam Pattern

1. Computer-Based Examination:
Consists of 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, covering General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi.
2. Negative Marking:
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Syllabus Details

1. General Intelligence and Reasoning:
Includes questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, and figural classification.
2. General Knowledge and Awareness:
Covers current events, India and its neighboring countries, sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific research.
3. Elementary Mathematics:
Includes questions on number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time, time and work.
4. English/Hindi:
Tests candidates' ability to understand basic English/Hindi and their basic comprehension.

Selection Process

1. Selection Stages:
The selection process consists of a Computer-Based Examination, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination, and Document Verification.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST):
Includes measurement of height, weight, and chest (as applicable).
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Candidates have to clear the race within specified time limits.
4. Medical Examination:
Candidates will be medically examined by the Medical Boards constituted by the CAPFs to assess their physical and medical fitness.

Admit Card Details
