SSS NIBE Visiting Fellow Programme 2025-26

The Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Bio-Energy (SSS NIBE), under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, invites applications for the Visiting Fellow Programme for 2025-26. This programme aims to enhance research capabilities and provide specialized mentoring in bioenergy and renewable energy domains.

1. Programme Duration:

The fellowship duration ranges from 6 to 12 months, providing flexibility for candidates to engage in meaningful research and mentoring activities.

2. Number of Fellowships:

A total of two fellowships are available for the 2025-26 session, offering a unique opportunity for experts in the field.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be Indian citizens or overseas citizens of Indian origin, working or retired as scientists, faculty, or senior officers in reputed institutions, with a focus on technology, consultation, and mentoring.

4. Financial Support:

Awardees will receive up to Rs. 80,000 per month, along with local accommodation and one-time domestic travel reimbursement as per central government TA rules.

5. Application Deadline:

The last date for submitting applications is March 31, 2025. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format available on the SSS NIBE website.
