The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results of the Computer Based Examination for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2025. Candidates who have qualified will proceed to the Skill Test stage. The results include category-wise cut-off marks and the number of candidates qualified for each post.

1. Examination Dates:

The Computer Based Examination was conducted on August 6, 7, 8, and 11, 2025, across various centers in India.

2. Normalization of Marks:

Marks were normalized as per the SSC's published formula to ensure fairness across multiple shifts.

3. Minimum Qualifying Marks:

UR: 30%, OBC/EWS: 25%, All other categories (SC, ST, PwD, ESM, etc): 20%.

4. Candidates Qualified for Skill Test:

8624 candidates for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 22456 candidates for Stenographer Grade ‘D’ have qualified for the Skill Test.

5. Cut-off Marks for Stenographer Grade ‘C’:

SC: 135.44087, ST: 120.37748, OBC: 141.77465, EWS: 137.83071, UR: 142.42577, OH: 119.93641, HH: 73.62062, VH: 95.27935.

6. Cut-off Marks for Stenographer Grade ‘D’:

SC: 117.77426, ST: 105.75225, OBC: 129.22305, EWS: 125.13310, UR: 132.30789, ESM: 40.27012, OH: 107.44537, HH: 40.20009, VH: 80.23427, Others-PWD: 51.94828.

7. Withheld and Rejected Candidates:

Results of 32 candidates have been withheld, and 49 candidates have been rejected due to various reasons.

8. Debarred Candidates:

Results of 100 candidates have not been processed due to debarment from SSC Examination(s).

9. Skill Test Schedule:

The schedule for the Skill Test will be announced on the SSC website in due course.
