The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has extended the last date for receipt of applications for the recruitment of three Stenographer Gr-I posts. The new deadline is February 28, 2026. This extension applies to the positions in the Directorate of Marketing & Inspection, to be filled on a deputation basis.

1. Extension of Application Deadline:

The last date for submitting applications for the Stenographer Gr-I posts has been extended to February 28, 2026.

2. Number of Posts:

Three posts of Stenographer Gr-I are available, one each at Regional Offices in Mumbai, Kolkata, and New Delhi.

3. Employment Type:

The positions are to be filled on a deputation basis, including short-term contracts.

4. Pay Scale:

The pay band for these positions is Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34,800/-) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-.
