The Ministry of Civil Aviation's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has released a notification for the appointment of technical consultants on a short-term contract basis. The positions available include Consultant - Safety Investigations, Consultant - Accident Prevention, and Consultant - Technical (Flight Recorders Lab). Applications are invited from eligible candidates until May 5, 2025.

1. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by May 5, 2025, either to the Receipt and DAK Section of AAIB or via email at dg.aaib-moca@gov.in.

2. Positions Available:

The positions available are Consultant - Safety Investigations (2 posts), Consultant - Accident Prevention (1 post), and Consultant - Technical (Flight Recorders Lab) (2 posts).

3. Contract Duration:

The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and requirements, not exceeding three years in total.

4. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet specific educational and experience requirements, including qualifications in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Operations, or related fields.

5. Remuneration:

The monthly remuneration for each position is ₹1,50,000, with specific guidelines for retired government and PSU employees.
